Dr. Culina or ''Tom'' as he prefers to be called by his patients, was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie. In 1995, he received his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1999, from Indiana University School of Optometry. Tom is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and certified by the Ministry of Health and the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prescribe ocular therapeutic medications. Dr. Culina has been in the vision training leader to the Sault Ste Marie Lions Club School Screening Program since it reintroduction in 2008.
